Professional Background

Crystal began her nursing career after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Baker College, graduating magna cum laude. She continued her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University. She completed each program with honors, reflecting her dedication to academic excellence.

Over her career, she has worked in neonatal, pediatric, and critical care nursing, as well as urgent, emergent, and occupational medicine. In 2019, she achieved board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, formally credentialing her as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

  • Dr. DeFreitas completed his medical education at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1984. He continued with an internship at Lankenau Hospital, followed by a residency in otolaryngology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

  • During his time there, he served as Chief Resident and received the prestigious Teaching Resident Award. His clinical work in temporal bone surgery earned additional recognition for its excellence and innovation.
